Grit Tennis will retain the personal data it holds unless and until you send us notice that you no longer wish us to retain this data. Should you discover any inaccuracies in such personal information, please notify the Grit Tennis as soon as possible at the same address. Grit Tennis will then correct its records.
Waiver of Liability
By participating at Grit Tennis organised tennis tournaments, competitions, social play and related activities and events, participants agree to waive any and all rights and claims for bodily or emotional injury; injury to their reputation; or any other damage or harms that they might suffer; or any other claims of any nature they or their legal representatives may have against Grit Tennis, the Tennis QLD, Tennis Australia and its officers, all tournament sites, tournament sponsors, or any organisation, facility or individual associated with these tournaments, competitions, social play and related activities and events.
Participants agree to participate at their own risk and the above organisations, facilities and individuals will not be responsible for any harm, injury or damage that they might suffer. They also release and waive any and all rights to claim damages or remuneration which may arise as a result of references to, photographs, images or likenesses of them which may appear in any publication or other media coverage.
Insurance Policy
Tennis Australia and Tennis QLD have been working in partnership to deliver a new membership model with a zero per player cost. This model will contribute to their knowledge of people playing tennis across QLD and in each local area.
As part of this model, players will be covered by personal accident insurance and the Club will be protected by Public Liability as well as Directors and Officers Insurance.
Further details about the insurance and how players can register for free Personal Accident Insurance are available at Trinity Beach Tennis Club or Clifton Beach Tennis Club.
Release of Information
If GRIT TENNIS (www.grittennis.com.au) is sold, the information we have obtained from you through your voluntary participation in our site may transfer to the new owner as a part of the sale in order that the service being provided to you may continue. In that event, you will receive notice through our website of that change in control and practices, and we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the purchaser honors any opt-out requests you might make of us.
How You Can Correct or Remove Information
We provide this privacy policy as a statement to you of our commitment to protect your personal information.
